The San Diego Zoo encompasses what all zoos should be, a sanctuary for animals to thrive. They are all about rescuing animals of the world, getting them back to a healthy state, and releasing them back in to the wild if they can. When they can’t be released back in to the wild, the animals get to live out their lives in the lap of luxury with an in house medical staff and facilities and food that resemble that of their natural environment. It truly is a sanctuary!
Did you know that the San Diego Zoo was established in 1916? It has developed several branches including the world’s most prominent research facility. Conservation and environmental issues are at the top of their list for making this world a better place. Memberships as well as one-day passes to the different parks are reasonable in cost and it’s a wonderful way to provide your support for an organization that really cares about what they do!
