“How Can I Achieve My Goals?”
Posted by Tollfreenumber.ORG at November 5th, 2015
You may have asked yourself this question at one time or another: “How can I achieve my goals?” And you may have heard answers like “Work hard” “Never give up” “If you can dream it – you can be it” and all sorts of other motivational pick-me-ups that’ll keep you going for the next few hours. But there’s one problem…
Your dreams and goals in life are a direct result of your actions. Waiting for the “right” time is pointless. There will never be a perfect time in between your day job, your kid’s schedules, your own schooling, relationships, and whatever else you have going on in your life. THE TIME IS NOW. The time is always. If you love it, you won’t want to not do it. Now, what you may do is put it on the back burner but, you can’t fool yourself, your flame will always burn, even if it’s a small flame.
So, with all the other stuff going on in our lives, how DO we stay motivated to spend the time doing what we actually love and, at some point, making that dream of ours what we actually end up doing for a living? Here’s some quotes from those that have done it:
“I worked full time in an office but wanted to pursue my passion of metal working for jewelry making. I finally decided to go part time, thinking that I’d have to bust my butt making jewelry if I wanted to make rent. I wouldn’t have another fall back. So I did and I had to teach myself a lot of stuff really fast but, I think it was the pressure to succeed at that point, that really made me succeed. I got a few orders here and there and then I ended up making a few grand a month which is what I was making when I worked in the office full time! So, it paid off for me.”

“For me it was a ‘no excuses’ type of deal. I finally told myself that the TV was off limits, social media was off limits, until I’d at least done a little bit of my hobby that day. And this was an everyday thing. No matter how tired I was when I got off work I rejected the idea of being laxy for the rest of the night. Little by little I got better and better at building websites and eventually I was able to start advertising and making money off building them for others!”

“I did night school! Ugh, it was a 1 hour commute to work, 8 hours of working, 45 minutes to school, 3 hours at school for 4 days a week, and an hour and 45 minutes to get home. I barely had enough time to take a shower before bed each night. And that lasted 3 years if you can believe it. My Dad told me that after it was done and I had my certificate that I would look back and think it went by so fast and it kinda did but… I will never forget that struggle.”

You too can achieve your goals and dreams if you simply make them a priority! You can do SO much with your life and you CAN get to where you want to be!
